Hey everybody,
This weekend, Bikes Not Bombs is loading up a shipping container with
lots of bikes and bike parts to be sent to New Orleans, and we're signed
up to help out this coming Sunday. The bikes and parts will go to people
who lost everything during and after the hurricane, and will serve as
the primary mode of transportation for a lot of Katrina victims. The
loading will happen from 10:30 AM till probably 4 PM (you can leave
early if you'd like), so a group of us will be leaving the office at
10:00 AM on Sunday. Mail me if you want to go, and give me your phone
number if you want a wake up call.
Also, we'll be volunteering at the Lobster Bowl this coming Friday and
Saturday, expect email from kaull soon!
