Greetings, all,
When I was a young child it was customary for the host of a formal (or
semi-formal, as it were) party to provide refreshments and entertainment
for his or her guests. As we are a well-respected and strong service
community, a celebration of our genteel past seems most appropriate.
Therefore, I announce a semi-formal formal appetizer-dessert* party to
celebrate our fellowship and our chapter, to be held at the sixth hour of
the evening (6 PM or 18:00) on Sunday, the 26th of February (this coming
Sunday). Attire is, of course, up to you, but something suitable for a
genteel affair such as this is recommended.**
Please respond by Friday at 6 PM to sff@mit.edu, including any allergies
to food or other substances. Allergies to acting should also be included.
The location will be announced as soon as it becomes available.
