This is broadcast mail to basically anyone I might know. As such, this is
the first and last broadcast mail on this subject. :)
Back in Sept '99, I started studying with the Isshinryu karate-do at MIT
club. I will be testing for black belt on April 29, and I'm supposed to
invite the world. Hence this spam. :)
What: black belt test, with a dinner trip to probably follow.
Location: MIT.
Date: Afternoon of April 29.
Synopsis: It'll be a bit like watching a college graduation:
interesting to see all the pagentry, and then becoming possibly
mind-dumbingly dull after awhile. ;) And then afterwards, food!
Details are still being finalized, and I'll announce them on a mailman
mailing list I've set up. To add yourself to the list, send mail to
daves-blackbelt-test-request@mit.edu
with "subscribe" in the body.
Everyone is invited; feel free to forward this.
Feel free to show up to just the test or just the dinner trip. If you're
inclined for either or both, or even if you're unsure if you'll come, you
