Hopefully your spamscreen didn't catch this email because of the
subject line, but I guess if you're reading this...
There's a really good outdoor service project coming up with the
Charles River Conservancy, and it wants a PC! These guys work to
clean up the Charles by planting and maintaining parks and trees that
border the Charles, and we'll be helping them out.
The project involves cleaning and pruning trees in Herter Park in
Allston. It's about a 2 mile walk from the Warren Street Green Line
stop, so PCing the project would involve either convincing people to
take the T way out on the Green line, and rushing to get to the
project in time (it's at 10 AM), or you could find someone who can
drive. I'll help out with finding a ride, if that's the route you
choose. Also, you'd want to arrange some small lunch for participants to eat.
The other catch is that we can only take six people, including the
PC, because the CRC keeps these outings small.
So, to summarize:
Charles River Conservancy
Saturday January 28th
10 AM-2PM, with short lunch break
Arrange ride(s)/take the T
pack/arrange lunch
and no, you don't have to be a Dom to PC the project
