It's going to be a New Year, but still the First Tuesday of Every Odd
Numbered Month Blood Drive and Dinner Trip continues. As this is
right after a holiday it is a time when the blood supply tends to be
low. Even if you can't join us in Burlington, please donate in your
own area if you are eligible.
AXAA BLOOD DONATION AND DINNER TRIP:
WHEN: Tuesday, January 3, 2005
WHERE: American Legion Hall, 162 Winn Street, Burlington, MA
To Make an appointment to donate: 1-800-GIVE-LIFE
Alumni, actives, family and friends welcome.
If you are donating, please arrive by 6:30pm. The blood mobile is open
form 1:30pm - 7:30pm
If you are joining us only for dinner, please arrive by 7pm.
Please RSVP so I know who to expect. If you are interested in going

It's time for the first First Tuesday of Every Odd Month Blood
Donation and Dinner Trip. Once again, we will be going to the Red
Crosses Boston donor center at:
25 Stuart Street, Boston
This center handles both whole blood donations and platelet
donations. Platelets take longer, but you can donate them more
frequently. It's probably too late to get an appointment to do a
platelet donation this month, but you may want to think about it for
the future. Come to bleed, come for dinner, come to bleed and eat
dinner.
The phone number for the donor center to make an appointment or get
directions is:
(617) 556-2200
or you can use
1-800-GIVE-LIFE
The Red Cross has a map to the center at:
http://www.newenglandblood.org/mass/bosmap.htm
The nearest T stop is the New England Medical Center stop on the
orange line.
