Date: Wed, 21 Dec 2005 02:01:39 -0500 (EST) From: Christina B Hawkes <riv@MIT.EDU> To: apo-news@MIT.EDU, r-h-t@MIT.EDU, mit-talk@MIT.EDU, ec-discuss@MIT.EDU cc: apo-silkscreen@MIT.EDU The shirts APO sold recently (rage warehouse, MIT dragon, Visit Hell) were heat-set with a new process which, although we followed the instructions as carefully as possible, resulted in incompletely-set ink in some of the shirts. If you have purchased one of these shirts, PLEASE iron the design on high-but-without-steam for 3 minutes on both sides before you wash it! Your shirt may or may not be affected by this issue, but it's better to be safe than sorry. If you've already washed it and discovered that your design is faded or gone, email shirt-exchange@mit.edu with the shirt's size, design, and shirt/ink colors to arrange for a free replacement (available in IAP, date TBD). As the silkscreening chair who decided to try the new heat-setting method, I'm very sorry to anyone who's already washed their shirt--I'm ready to do whatever I can to make sure that everyone who bought a shirt this December has a non-defective one. Please pass this information on to your friends not on this list who purchased or were given a shirt.
