Hey yall!
I've gotten together another trip for us in January to the Prison Books
Program. For those of you that didn't go on the trip during this term,
at least in PTR, it was a favorite. Basically you read letters from
prisoners and fill their book requests. Then you wrap up the books to be
sent via media mail to the prisons. The program was put in place to help
prisoners learn through reading during their tenure.
The tentative date is Jan 21. It's a Saturday during our IAP and it is
NOT during mystery hunt. Plus it's on a weekend, so you know you'll have
time to get some service in! It'll be fun! Let me know if you think
you'll be able to go, so I can let them know. If you have friends that
aren't in APO, they're more than welcome too!
