Hi--
This is Dhaya. I work at The Boston Harbor Association,
(an environmental advocacy group for the Boston Harbor)
Veryfine & TBHA are sponsoring a huge media event a week from this Thursday,
April 14, the eve of the nation's tax filing deadline-- to highlight the
importance of restoring the Harbor. It will be from the docks of the Boston Tea
Party Ship.
I need 8-12 people to volunteer to act like they are 'cleaning up' the Harbor.
No one will get wet or dirty. This is a PR venture, not a scientific one. In
return, you will be on TV, receive all the Veryfine 'chillers' you want (there is
a new line of iced Tea drinks is being introduced at this event) and sandwiches.
I will help shuttle people to the Boston Tea Party Ship
in cabs leaving from the student center. No one has to pay for it.
It will take 45 minutes to do this, from 1:00 till 1:45.
We can meet at 12:15 at the student center to go over there.
It should be great.... Samuel Rowse, president of Veryfine said, "If
our forefathers had known the long term impact of dumping tea into the Boston
harbor, I have to believe they would have chosen to drink the tea, rather than
dump it."
You guys WILL be sampling tea instead of drinking it!!!
Again: NEXT THURSDAY 1:00-1:45
