MIT CAMPUS POLICE
BULLETIN
ISSUED: March 16, 1994

Please be advised that since Monday, March 14, 1994 there have been 3
reports of a suspicious male who has been observed in women's rest
rooms. These incidents occurred in buildings 4-3rd floor; 66-1st floor,
and 16-4th floor, all between 2:00 pm and 3:30 pm.

In each incident, the victims report that as they entered the rest
room, the suspect was already present or in a stall. In one case, the
suspect knelt down in front of an occupied stall, and exposed himself.
In every incident the suspect has quickly fled, without causing any
physical injuries to the victims.

The suspect is described by the victims as: a white male,
approximately 5'11"; 160 pounds, early twenties, dark wavy hair, wearing
blue jeans and worn boat/dock shoes.

The MIT Campus Police Crime Prevention and Sensitive Crimes Unit
recommends the following crime prevention tips:

*	When entering the women's rest rooms, if you observe a male in the
premises, LEAVE IMMEDIATELY and notify the Campus Police by dialing
"100" from the nearest campus telephone.

*	Be alert - if you enter a rest room and the lights are off - don't
enter. Use another facility and advise the Campus Police immediately of
the condition.

*	Report any suspicious activity to the Campus Police at 3-1212 or dial
"100" in an emergency.
