OK. Here is, once and for all, the listing of active APO mailing lists.
apo-news: For announcements relating directly to APO. Traffic on this list
should be kept to a minimum, since all brothers and pledges should be on
this list and read everything that goes by.
apo-pftgoto: Points For The Good Of The Order. Just like the real thing in
meetings. Announce the concert you're in. Forward mail decrying various
evil empires here. Note that this list is not for those fearful of high
mail traffic -- but by the same token, don't forward every last little
thing you find funny.
apo-minutes: The minutes of meetings are sent here.
apo-exec: ExecComm, plus groupies. Interested in seeing the inner
machinations of the chapter? Add yourself. A good way to contact the
officers quickly.
apo-acl: Those people who are athena clueful and deal with the very small
amount of Athena administrivia concerning APO.
apo: Right now, this is a way to get in touch with Yale Zussman and Glenn
Berry. This will be going away soon, although mail can still be sent to
apo@mit.edu, which will get forwarded to apo-president. Yale should
hopefully be getting a silver.lcs account soon.
apo-president: Guess.
apo-brothers, apo-pledges, apo-bigbrothers: For use mainly by the MVP. In
general, mail should not be sent here unless you really know better.
FYI:
apo-ssp: Sectional Service Project. This'll continue to be active until at
least all year; it may possibly be used by future SSP chairs.
apo-section-96[-request,-staff,-staff-request]: these don't exist yet, but
will hopefully soon. They'll have the appropriate contacts on it. (This
may be a duplication of what John Grossi has; I'm talking to him about it.)
