EXECCOMM 2/9/94 7:35pm
SVP(Bridget): There was an open project @ Arborway. This weekend is
Science Bowl. It is unclear at the moemnt when the
project will start on Friday. Harry is the PC. Then
come CWI, with Charley as PC and Elth as food sub-PC.
There is a possible project with the Boston Harbor
Association Auction on the 28th. Also an easter
party at the Shriners Burns Hospital. Pledge project
will be chapter weekend. [There was a shor discussion
as to the suitability of chapter weekend as a pledge
project] Only need to find one and a half more
projects for the term.
MVP(Barbara): All open meetings happened and there are about 30
prospectives. Sending out pledge ceremony invitations
at the moment. There will be 2 pledge ceremonies
next week, Monday and Tuesday. The ritual team
should memorise their parts. Pledge Article Meal
will take place on Saturday at CWI.
AVP(Kate): WUAPOs will be out tomorrow.
Treas(Kevin): If you want to be active, pay your dues by next Wed.
FVP(Ann): Open study break last night was fun.
APOC(Amy): I have articles from the study break ... YEAHH!!
ASC(Traci): Haven't done anything yet :)
PubDir(LeaAnn): need to buy drop poster. The IC board needs to
be redone - possibly to advertise upcoming projects.
Hist(Dima): I took 2 pictures.
Adv(Joe): Nothing to report
Pres(Dave): I've been attempting to tool. Things are going well.
I'll be talking to the junior officers and dealing with
chapter skills weekend. Conclave is coming and you
should decide that you want to go.
Big Screw(Henning): The candidate form and rules were only changed
by updating the dates. They will be proposed
at chapter meeting next week. There was a brief
discussion of starting the contest on April 1st
but seeing as how this is a Friday (Good Friday)
it was decided against.
Book Exchage(Kevin): Somebody wrote down that there were 2 TCA books
sold for $10 but did not keep the slips ...
Anyone know anything about this ???
NEW BUSINESS:
------------
60th Anniverary: 60 in 60 (brothers and years old) seemed a little
too unrealistic to almost everybody and so was
dropped as a possible 'slogan?'
Pledge Ceremonies: Remember that dress is semi-formal
Publicity: There was a short discussion on how AX should be
publicised in the region and on a national level
(eg. articles in Torch & Trefoil). If you submit they
will publish. This has to with chapter pride.
Big Screw: The committee formally moved to accept the rules for
Big Screw and propose them to the chapter.
