Why: I bought a house, most of the boxes are unpacked, and my living
room looks empty without your company
How: travel by public transit or private conveyance. Directions in
text and PostScript are attached.
**If you are not coming by public transit, designate a driver for your
return trip.**
Very close PARKING IS LIMITED (it's a short street, on a hill). Parking
near Mass Ave should be available and is probably legal (but check
before you park!).

Directions to John Kohl's house, 8 Lorne Road, Arlington, MA:
a) by bus: Take #77 from Harvard Sq (or anywhere along Mass. Ave.) to the
end of the line in Arlington Heights. Walk about 1/2 block further
north Mass. Ave., to Paul Revere Road (on your left, at the Gulf station).
Take Paul Revere Road to the first right (Sutherland, a steep hill).
Walk up Sutherland; it curves to the right and then sharply to the left.
Lorne Road is the first street on the left.
b) by car: drive to Mass. Ave. in Arlington, head north (toward
Lexington), and follow the above directions. Or, take route 2 to the
Park Ave. exit. Take Park Ave. over and down the hill. Turn left on to
Paul Revere road one block before you get to Mass. Ave. (at the corner
with a church). (If you hit Mass. Ave., just turn left and follow above
directions). Take first left (Sutherland), bear right then left, and
then turn left onto Lorne Road.
