EXECCOMM 1/26/94 6:05pm

Present: Elth, Dave, Kevin, Bridget, Ping, Ann, Karen, Joe,
         Dima, Kate

SVP(Bridget): written report :)
Since there is no scheduled meeting this week, I am making an email
report to let the ossifers know what's going on. Since last execcomm,
we have acquired Beaver Day (May 8), ArborWay School (see folders on
coffee table for more details) probably Feb 5, and I left a lot of
messages and got a lot of "we'll call you back"s. Also I talked to
C---- and we decided that Afterfinals is going to be a FUN, FUN event
with mold and mold-kids and all that, and I need a PC *now* to start
coordinating with the moldPC whoever that turns out to be.
We will not be having a project on the 29th because it takes a lot
longer to actually reach any particular volunteer director than I
would have expected, and it takes even longer for them to either make
up their minds or consult with administration or site personnel. I
intend to impress upon the next SVP candidates exactly how long this
takes. (yes dave it's in my diary.)
For those who found me asleep on the couch late yesterday morning: I
visited the Arborway school early yesterday morning. They have paint
and would love to have us apply it to the walls and they think they
can get organized enough to deal with the concept by Feb 5th (they
will be calling back later this week.)
As far as the rest goes, 2 places said call back next month for
outdoor work later in the term; Bay State Games would love to have us
help out in the middle of July if anyone's around then; and four
places want us to do stuff and are going to call back late this week
or early next week. The limb (Shriner's Burns hospital) is going to
	call back Monday.
Ann and I have a list of PCships to recommend to people. If you
want to help (e.g., talk to your little(s) or the brother down the
hall, or something) let us know. We are very organized. No, really.
(That's not my nose growing. You're imagining things.)
Older news: For an up-to-date calendar of all the (mostly
traditional) definitely-going-to-happen events so far, see the wall
above the games cabinet. (yes, anyone who bet we wouldn't be using it
	this term either has lost.)
Final note: any misspellings are the office terminal's fault, not my
	typing >:)

Treas(Kevin): He's been getting $$$ from people. This is good.

FVP(Ann): Tickets for the Foundling have been reserved. She'll contact people
          by email about the BSO.

AVP(Kate): Sorry for being late. Thanks to Ann for taking the minutes so far.
About to reserve the rooms for book exchange for '94-'95.

APOCEd(Amy): the APOC is not coming out tomorrow

Historian(Karen): Nothing much at the moment.

Pres(Dave): been really lame for the last week. Thanks to execcomm for a good IAP.
Term is about to start and it is time to start executing those goals.
Otherwise nothing specific is happening. Lunch with BU happened.

OLD BUSINESS:
------------

Time to get Big Screw off the ground.

Dave agreed to call Avi and Mike to get silkscreening help.

NEW BUSINESS:
------------

There is no project on Saturday the 29th. There was a short general discussion on
how long it can take to organise a service project. Bridget seems to have been
especially unlucky, but it would be advisable to start at least 4 weeks before the
first scheduled project.

Kate will send out written agendas for next week [really I will .. straight after
I finish typing these minutes up]. Also get more WUAPOs for prospectives.

Chapter meetings will definitely be on Wednesdays this term. (This was in answer
to Karen's question)

Remember to encourage people to run for junior officerships, elections are next
Wednesday. Also decide then on pledge class namesakes.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
-------------

Kevin: book exhange set-up is straight after this
Karen: couch cleaning party was a lot of fun

PFTGOTO:
-------

Move to form a fellowship circle, standing vote.
