AfterFinals will be at Camp Resolute, barring really wretched weather.
(It will probably run from Friday evening til Sunday afternoonish.)
There is a signup posted in the office. Sign up! (Remember, if
you're not going, sign up "No.")
Ann is transport sub-PC! (Yay!) Kate is food sub-PC! (Yay!)
They want a manpower subPC!!!
I need a PC!!!!!! who probably also wants a manpower subPC.
Ezra, the sledding sub-PC, says any prospective sledders should, er,
borrow (yeah, that's it, borrow..) some of those nice grey cafeteria
trays.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are planning on going to AfterFinals, and you
have not been to a winter AfterFinals before (and you are not from
Maine or Alaska), PLEASE talk to someone who's been to winter
AfterFinalses, or someone from a really cold climate, so he/she can
tell you Important Things, like what to wear so you don't freeze to
death. (Sneakers are Right Out. If you don't have boots, you'd
better not come.) Remember, dying on project is Strongly Discouraged.
In other news: I want to make a canonical Food-Allergy list, to be
made available to the food chair, all food sub-PCs, and anyone else
who has to deal with food. If you are allergic to any kind of food
(e.g. peanut butter, rice, milk) please tell me, "for the record".
This will prevent recurrences of the ever-popular "But you know I'm
allergic to x." "No I didn't know that. How was I supposed to know?"
