Hi all,
This was discussed at the meeting tonight. The MIT Course Evaluation Guide
is currently badly understaffed and there is some danger that the Guide may
end up getting scrapped altogether if help is not forthcoming.
In the short term, people are needed for an envelope stuffing which will
be taking place next week Wednesday and Thursday, 4 pm in the CEG office which
is within the Undergraduate Activities office in the student center. I have
been asked if this would "count" as a service project in terms of fulfilling
brotherhood expectations, pledge requirements etc. I have not had the
opportunity to discuss this with the MVP but I'd say it would certainly be a
consideration since the CEG is certainly a valuable serivce to the MIT campus.
There is also a need for people in the long run. Brother Amy Hsu is on the
staff and could tell you more about that.
APO is not getting involved in the CEG in any "official" capacity, but the
general sentiment at the meeting was that we would be receptive to CEG asking
us for help on specific projects.
YiLFS,
Kevin
