Hello, all, this is your friendly neighborhood manpower sub-PC and I wanted to let you know when we need people to come for UMOC. So here's the deal:
We have 1 hour shifts starting at 10am and running until 5pm daily. The
basic duties are sitting at the booth, taking nominations and votes, looking
useful(you know, easy stuff). There need to be two people signed up for each
shift. One of the people on the 10am shift has to have an office key. From 5
to 6pm, there will be an accounting session. This also needs two volunteers.
And, of course, we need people to help set up and take down the dexion booth.
As I understand it, this should be a chapter skill, but isn't. What I know for
sure is that the only way to learn to build it is to see it done(and DO it).
As soon as I get exact times on when we can start putting it up, I'll send more
mail. RSVP(yes OR no) to me at chashmlt@athena. There will be a sign-up sheet
in the office Tuesday night or Wednesday morning. It is hard copy and the best
way to actually guarantee a certain time.
So, one more time through the relevent info.
WHAT: UMOC BOOTH (set-up, staffing, and disassembly)
WHERE: LOBBY 10
WHEN: Oct 25-29(Mon-Fri) for staffing
Oct 29(Fri after 5pm) for disassembly
Either the night of the 24th or early AM on the 25th for
assembly.
