Hi everybody,
I just wanted to remind everyone that there's a chapter meeting this
Wednesday the 29th at 7 p.m. in room 400. There are a few items on the
agenda, including a few standing policies which are being reviewed and a
motion from our treasurer Gilbert concerning the prices of food at chapter
events. However, the big item is JUNIOR OFFICER ELECTIONS. I've spoken to a
couple of people who have expressed an interest in the position of historian,
for which I am very grateful, but as of now, we still have no confirmed
candidates. (WE also still have only the one each for ASC and PubDir.)
I will not push anyone who is unable or unwilling into taking the
position of historian, and I hope no one else in the brotherhood would do such
a thing. I only ask that you all have given it some honest thought. If the
office has to remain vacant, I will take it upon myself as president to find
some way to make sure the historian's responsibilities are attended to. I
hope this will not be necessary.
