Dale,
My name is Albert Hsu, and I am a first term brother. I'm in a quandry and was
wondering if you could help. Seven friends and acquaintances (non-APO people,
all of them BUT they might be interested in joining/being prospectives) were
interested in going to Tanglewood (in Lenox, MA) this weekend for the Jazz
Festival. On Sunday, September 5th, the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra will be
playing "Music of the Masters": Duke Ellington, Jelly Roll Morton, and
Thelonius Monk. The concert starts at 7:30 (gates open at 4:00), and lawn
seats cost $13. My friends and I would pay for the tickets of any drivers.
Personally, I have zero exposure to jazz, but this outing sounded really neat.
The problem is, the person who was organizing the trip (and was arranging
transportation) backed out. Now, I'm (desperately) searching for a ride....
Can you help? Any ideas at all would be more than welcome. Please send me
some sort of reply as soon as possible. (alhsu@athena.mit.edu)
Thank you very much.
- ALbert Hsu
