The Publick Theatre is performing "A Funny Thing Happened On The Way
To The Forum" this August. It is a famous comedy musical, and a movie
was made of it starring Zero Mostel. I am planning a group outing
there on Wednesday August 11. Tickets will be $12, although we will
probably be able to get a discount if 10 or more people sign up. If
you are interested, please e-mail me (drw@math.mit.edu), or call me at
617-899-7949 before August 4.
The Publick Theatre is a neat outdoor amphitheater on the shores of
Fluvius Carolus, that is, the Charles River. Their productions are
always very good, and many of their actors are experienced
professionals. The shows start at 8. If people are interested, we
can have a picnic before the show.
