Who: You, your friends, and anybody else you feel like dragging along.

What: Fulton's Folly - a Fourth of July celebration on the Esplanade.
There will be lots of people, games, food, music, and fireworks. (For
those who don't know, the Boston Pops does a concert in the hatchshell
on the Esplanade every Fourth. The central pieces of the concert are
the 1812 Overture with cannons, and a "pyromusical".)

When: Feel free to show up at any point during the day, most people
arrive in the early afternoon, but we will be there from the early
morning on and people will be around all day hanging out, playing
games, etc. The concert starts at 8pm, and the fireworks are at 10pm.
"First strike" will be meeting at 6am in the APO office to take
supplies over to the Esplanade and stake out land. Help with this
would be much welcomed, and you should email me tonight if you plan to
be there.

Where: The Esplanade covers most of the area between the Longfellow
and Mass Ave bridges. The hatchshell is at the end near the
Longfellow. We will be at the Mass Ave end, right near the fireworks
barge (which should be easy to see), somewhere along the stretch of
land that lies between the path and the river. We will have area
roped off, hopefully with bright yellow caution tape, and the gold and
blue Alpha Phi Omega banner will be hanging somewhere to identify us.

Why: Because it will be fun!

We're hoping that it doesn't rain, but if it does we have tarps to
make some sort of tent, so we should be okay. Further information can
be found at www.july4th.org. Remember to bring blankets, sunscreen,
food, any cool games you have, and lots of WATER. We should have a
limited supply of these things there, too and there will be vendors
all over the place.

See you tomorrow!

-Aletta
