Hey all! The summer picnic is going to be on Sat, July 22nd at 11am till
whenever we get tired! It's Sandy Neck Beach on the boarder of Barnstable
and Sandwich off of Rte 6A (detail directions to follow later and possibly
will be put on the section web page). But the plan is BYOP (that's P for
picnic) and the beach has a lifeguard, sanitary facilities, a bathhouse,
snackbar, and picnic area (but please bring your sunscreen!). All this
right up the street from my grandmother's house :) It's about one hour
from Boston and 2 from Worcester. If anyone needs carpooling info, please
talk amongst yourselves or let me know and I'll try to hook you up with
something. Also, to make things easier on those staking claim to our
lump o' sand, and RSVP will be much appreciated :) Let me know if there
are any questions :)
