Dear Brothers of Section 96,
It is with great regret and remorse that I pass on this tragic news about
what has happened to a brother at the Seton Hall Chapter.
Please keep our brothers in your thoughts.

Hi everyone,
I wish I was writing this under better circumstances.
Some of you may have heard of the young woman who was taken from in front of Seton Hall on Wednesday afternoon and subsequently died Friday early evening.
This young woman's name was Sohayla Massachi, a founder of Alpha Delta Phi on the Seton Hall campus.
I spent a better part of last night with the chapter. They had many of the founders with them and those who knew Sohayla best. The chapter is currently working on the following three projects. The first is that they are looking to start a scholarship in Sohayla's name. If enough money is not raised from this they will be donating the money to Habitat to Humanity in Sohayla's name. Second, they are submitting Sohayla's name to the National Office for a Fall Pledge Class Namesake. Finally, they are looking to plan a memorial service for Sohayla using the Alpha Phi Omega ceremony followed by a candle pass.
The memorial service is in the process of being planned but, will most likely be next weekend and most likely on Sunday depending on the usage of the Seton Hall Chapel. I will advise all once I have a final time and a final location. This most likely will impact the staff meeting scheduled for next weekend at The Rauch's. I am working with the chapter on finalizing a time so, please be prepared for a postponement of the staff meeting or a change in the time or even date change to Saturday.
If you have any questions or concerns please let me know. Also, if your school is still in session please let them know as well. I will be sending a message to them but, since so many people knew Sohayla I can't contact them all personally.
