heya, all...it's that time of term again. brothers get to gather in a
closed room and discuss how cool the pledges are, and pledges get to
gather in a closed office and discuss how lame the brothers are. :)
like everything at mit, there are acronyms attached to both of these
discussions: PCR (pledge class review) and PTR (pledge term review).
at least i think i got them right. :)
pcr is the brothers' meeting: if you are active this term, or if you
have input on any of the pledges, you should come to this. since the
mvp is extremely hosed, she has asked me to run this meeting for her.
'twill be starting at 1pm this sunday in 10-280; hopefully i'll have
time to hunt down munchies. (other people are encouraged to do this
hunting, too.)
ptr is the pledges' meeting: this is your chance to spew as much as
you want about your pledge term. like pcr, this is a closed meeting;
anything you say within the meeting, no one else can repeat outside of
the meeting (unless you give them permission). alan will be moderating
this meeting, and you can probably get him to tell you cool stories,
too. :) this meeting also starts at 1pm, although this one is in the
office -- that's right, you get to take over the office, and keep the
brothers out (if you wish). :) i'll also attempt to supply munchies
for this meeting, but other people are encouraged to also do so, lest
i run out of time. :) (ah, yeah, this meeting is also on sunday.)
to summarize: sunday, 1pm, 10-280/office, pcr/ptr. you want to be there. :)
and i'll see all of you at the food bank, right? :)
