Alan just reminded me that some of you are not on campus and don't know what happened.... so, it seems last night in Random Hall there was a fire in a sophomore's room (ELizabeth Shin). She was rescued
(i.e. pulled out of her room) by 5 or 6 (article is not in front of me) CPs
who are all also in the hospital for smoke inhalation (she is in the hospital
in critical condition with burns on 65% of her body).

This is all according to what I read in the Tech today. The lobby 7 drop poster
was in response to people soliciting ideas on how to thank the CPs for risking
their lives to save Elizabeth Shin.

Marisa.
