Dear Brothers,
Hi there! I want to apologize in advance if you receive duplicate copies
of this email, I am trying to make sure I reach everyone with it.
The spring semester seems to be going well for all of our chapters and our
pettitoning group. Everyone seems to be in a period of building and
regrowth. At least half of our chapters have pledge classes ove over 12
pledges!!!!
I just w3ant to make you all aware of a couple of things:
* Section Dues ($1 per bro, $20 max per chapter) are due at conclave. In
order to vote on any section business at conclave, you must pay the $20 at
or before the business meeting.
*Please make sure I have updated contact information for all chapters and
staff so that I can distribute updated phone/mailing lists.
*PLEASE BRING YOUR SCHOOLS FALL CALENDER TO THE BUSINESS MEETING if
available. It will make it easier to plan some upcoming section events.
*if you have something you feel ought to be on the meeting agenda, please
let me know in advance (esp. if it requires a vote...this way chapters can
discuss it beforehand.
*Section advisory council is forming. an outline of what it will entail
will be presented at conclave. If you are interested in participating in
more of the planning of this, the next online meeting is Wed, March 22,
2000 at 7:30 pm. Contact Katie Thorsen katiet@wpi.edu or Natalie Ferber
ferrbie@att.net, for more information.
*As of this moment, items to be voted on at conclave are: Section advisory
Council guidelines, dates for summer picnic and section service project,
chair election, spring2001 conclave (possibly bids from MIT, Vermont) .
