Hear hear!

Why, in -my- day (what the hell is this, "old days, as in when Dave Cho was
around"?!?), we had stories about National convention bids being put
together overnight, with Conclaves being organized with merely one-quarter
of the chapter, with entire boy scout camps razed and rebuilt in two
chapter weekends...

Bah.

When I (or others) cornered those alums, there were always the little
details they dropped out. "Oh, well, umm, yeah, there were 5,608 other
groups working on that scout camp on all the other weekends of the term,
and had been at it for the term before, too. We, umm, took down some
shingles off of one building. That had already been knocked down. And had
been ripped apart for firewood. Well, okay, we used the shingles for
kindling our smores campfire. Did we actually *do* anything that weekend?
I don't remember."

If you're at a loss, feel free to ask some alums for their "no shit, there
the chapter was" stories. But really, make up your own. It's more fun
that way. That way, when you do see alums, you can trade NS,TTCW stories.

It's not like Region Zero ever *happened*...
