Sorry about the mass posting. But please, feel free to forward this.
Feel *more* than free to forward this....=)
In about 11 days time, I will be leaving for lovely Wichita Falls,
Texas, to spend 28 fun-filled days at Sheppard Air Force Base, for
field training. I get to enjoy 5 AM 2-mile runs, 10 minute meals, 4
hour drill practices, and lots of people yelling at me for lots of
different reasons.
Needless to say, I will want support. Lots of it. =) I expect I will
be very lonely and that I will want to come home quite often. Since I
will be pretty much cut off from all other means of communication (the
telephone is only for emergencies), and although Matt will be acting
as my email to snail mail gateway (so I maintain some civil level of
contact), Pleeeese WRITE to me. I don't know that I will have time to
answer anything you send me, but you will have my undying gratitude.
=)
My address will be:
Attn: General Delivery
AFROTC/Encampment Center
Cadet Barbara Manganis
527 I Avenue, Ste. 3
Sheppard AFB, TX 76311-2505
To make this all easier, I will leave lots of pre-addressed envelopes
in my sipb drawer...just grab one and write to me! And as I mentioned
above, you can even send me email...though written mail would be nice.
I don't care if it comes on a postcard or a postage stamp... No
food though. They will make me open all packages (not letters) in
front of them and hand over any food....
Hope to hear from you!
Barbara
PS. I will be at field training from May 30 - June 28
PPS. I will put the address in my .plan file, so you can find it again.
