I'm really really really impressed. (I'd send this out to PFTGOTO but
I want to make sure _everyone_ gets this.) After so many years of being
dishearted by APO not living up to the stories of old (Dave Cho's time)
and people not showing up to projects and the such, I'm actually pcing
a project where it looks like there are more people who want to go than
the project can take. I'm really sorry to those of you who e-mailed
me recently. I hate to turn people away, and would like to say that
you should all come, and the more the merrier, and if there isn't enough
work to do, we can sit and socialize with the guests, (always an interesting
and delightful experience, that is ofcourse if the women don't mind getting
proposed to too much... sorry, inside joke for those who were around a few
years ago).
So I guess the point of this is two fold. A: to warn you about having too
many people issues, and B: to thank you for restoring my faith in the
Chapter. The recent officers have done wonderful jobs as far as I can
see, and the enthusiasm and energy of the new brothers and pledges has done
a lot to heal these jaded eyes. Thank you for making me happy on a dreary
day. You guys are all wonderful. Consider yourselves hugged (twice if
I don't know you, the second serves as an apology for not having met you
yet). Take care all. Hopefull, I'll see you on Saturday.
