Howdy! So, I kind of mentioned an idea to Sam of having a field day of
sorts, and he liked the idea and somehow convinced me I should PC it. Hehe.
My basic idea is that people would enter teams, with an entrance fee of
something like $10-25, and we'd have different events ranging from anything
like sports games to three-legged races, with the money going to the
winning team's charity of choice. It would be a lot of fun, get us known
for something on campus other than book ex. and big screw, benefit some
charity, and did I mention that it would be fun? =)
So I'm sending this email out as a sort of feeler...do you guys like the
idea? would you be willing to help me plan it? do you have good ideas for
events, etc.? I'm looking at having it on April 22nd. If this is a bad day
for any reason, let me know.
I'm scheduling a brainstorming meeting for ideas and to guage interest for
this Monday night(March 6) at 7pm in the office. If you have ideas/are
interested in helping out, but can't make the meeting, email me.
