Hi, folks! This is your SVP, typing to you with my fingers.
This weekend after Book Ex takedown (Fri. 6 PM), you get the weekend off
from a service standpoint, anyway. The next weekend we have one of our
open projects, a trip to Greater Boston Food Bank to sort food items.
We will be working there from 8:45 until 12:30, and thus we will have to
meet in the office at 7:30-8:00 in the morning. Yeah, it's early, but I
couldn't get the afternoon slot. You should come anyway, and start your
day out right by helping your fellow humans. :) This Project still needs a
PC. Tell me to PC it.
The weekend after that, we have chapter weekend I at Camp Nobscott, where
we will be doing a demolition project. Having gotten a hold of the folks
at WPI, they are EXCITED about coming and doing this project with us, so
there will be lots of opportunity to hang out with other wierd brothers
from a technical institution.
We need a head PC,
a transport PC,
and a food PC who might have to coordinate food with WPI.
The weekend after THAT is the Harvard/MIT math tourney (provided I get a
reply from the organizer), and Aaron Ucko has volunteered to PC this
project, so let him know if you'd like to work on it (amu@mit.edu).
Further on down the line, I've managed to get in touch with the chapter at
BU. They would love to do some stuff outdoors with us in April, and they
proudly tell me their pledge class is 1.5 times the size of the
brotherhood! Wow! Look for more info later.
Please tell me you want to PC these projects as soon as possible!
Yours in Leadership, Friendship and SERVICE,
Sam
