In November, the third Thursday of every odd numbered month blood donation =
and dinner trip will actually be on the fourht Tuesday, November 26 (the Am=
erican Legion isn't hosting a drive on the 3rd Thursday and the later date =
still leaves donors eligible to donate on the 3rd Tuesday in January.
The details:
Who: Hopefully, you. Family and friends welcome.
What: Blood donation followed by Dinner Trip
When: September 17, 2024
Where: American Legion Hall, 162 Winn Street, Burlington, MA
Why: Because it saves lives.
How:
To Make an appointment to donate call 1-800-GIVE-LIFE or go on line at http=
://www.redcrossblood.org/. If you don't see an available appointment, check=
back since some people cancel. Also, sometimes, you can get an appointment=
by calling when none appear to be available on the website. It's unclear i=
f they have started allowing walk-ins again, it might depend on how busy th=
ey are.
The blood mobile is open from 1:30pm - 7:00 pm. The last appointment time =
appears to be 6:30 these days.
Please join us for dinner even if you can't donate You can either meet us a=
t the American Legion or I can text you the dinner location once we've deci=
ded on it.
If you are interested in coming, but need a ride, let me know and I'll try =
to arrange one.
