This coming Tuesday is the 3rd Tuesday of of an odd numbered month and
in normal times it would be time for another Blood Drive & Dinner Trip
evening, but given the COVID numbers, no dinner trip this week.

The Red Cross is urgently asking for donors -- both whole blood and
platelets. The blood supply is extremely low, to the point where some
hospitals around the US are concerned about having blood available to
treat trauma patients.

If it is possible for you to donate, please make an appointment at a
blood donor center near you. I will be giving on Tuesday night at the
"usual" cite in Burlington, MA. To make an appointment,
https://www.redcrossblood.org/ or check to see if hospitals in your area
are running their own blood collection services.

YiLFS,
Ellen
