At the suggestion of Michael Balma, the next APO alumni dinner will be
at a Thai restaurant on the restaurant strip of downtown Waltham:

Please RSVP by October 22nd so I can put in a reservation for the
group.
This location is a few blocks from the Waltham (or Carter St.) stop on
the Fitchburg/South Acton commuter rail. The closest train leaves
North Station at 6:25pm and arrives at Waltham at 6:48pm. There are
inbound commuter rail trains from Waltham at 8:35pm and 9:29pm.
There is also service by the 70 bus to the Waltham commuter rail stop
from Central Sq. Cambridge. Outbound, there are busses about every 20
minutes, scheduled to take about 40 minutes (this is rush hour).
Returning, there are busses at 8:23pm, 8:39pm, 9:11pm, 9:43pm, and
10:13pm which take about 30 minutes to get to Cambridge.

Looking for opinions: The system for organizing APO alumni dinners is
for people to take rotations choosing places and times that are to
their liking. The next dinner will be in early December, and I have
no volunteer to be chooser for it yet.
