Hello brothers,
Next January (2014), our section will be hosting Regionals, which means
that all chapters in our section will help organizing the conference. We've
been assigned Workshops, which entails working with the region directors
and section chairs, contacting presenters, creating the schedule, and
introducing each presenter at each workshop. Most of the work here involves
logistics, which we're good at, and the part about introducing each
presenter at each workshop can easily be outsourced to other chapters with
more manpower.
For right now, I'm looking for a Workshops chair (or co-chairs, which would
make things easier), and a committee to help organize this. Of course, if
you aren't part of the committee, you can still help - similar to the way
we planned Conclave last year. If you're interested in either, let me know
or come to the chapter meeting this Wednesday where we'll be discussing
this more.
