If anyone is thinking about Apprenticing but is worried about his/her abili=
ty to
run BookEx the semester afterwards, here are some things you may want to co=
nsider:
There is Clue. It is quite detailed (and funny (blame slehmann)).
You can ask the previous BookEx master for help; that's part of their role.=
So don't worry
if you don't think you can remember everything you did during your apprenti=
ceship.
BookEx serves a lot of people. So when someone mentions how helpful it was,=
you can
cackle about how that was all part of your devious plan to take over the wo=
rld (I did
(blame wwwennie)). Or just feel good about yourself, whatever works for you=
.
I seem to recall the nibs being quite awesome this past semester. Before Bo=
okEx, my only
PC-ship was a co-PC-ship, consisting of the momentous task of printing out =
directions to
Bikes-not-Bombs. BookEx is big, but you can do it :)
BookEx is great for anyone with an itch to stockpile/hoard things. Well, un=
til you have to
donate the leftovers, but before then, you get to be the guardian of a pret=
ty pile of
precioussss books...teehee...
YiFS,
Harriet

Unfortunately, I haven't been contacted by anyone about becoming Apprentice=
or Publicity sub-PC. These are really important positions - particularly A=
pprentice, since we will need someone to run Bookex next term.
