Hey APO! Remember when Liz told you about putting together LEGO kits to
help kids learn SCIENCE? It turns out there are a bunch more DNA kits that
need labeling and gluing. (It's almost as if they're self-replicating or
something! Imagine that.)
So there's going to be a LEGO party on *Saturday, November 3*, starting at
around *2 PM*. Sign up on the chmrr:
https://apo.chmrr.net/more_legos
This is not a PMD event, but we will probably be getting some volunteers
from the MIT chem department. The chmrr says four hours, but it'll go until
all the kits are done if we have enough people to do that, or a reasonable
hour otherwise. Sign up for whichever hours you're available. It'll be nice
if everyone's there at the start so we can give instructions once, but it's
not strictly necessary.
I'll send out more later when it gets decided, including location and any
further scheduling information. Please do come! It's not hard, and turns
out to be really fun. :D
