A Million Laughs for Literacy Gala (SUPER TIME SENSITIVE, READ NOW)

Hey all,
National Braille Press is hosting their A Million Laughs for Literacy gala this
year on October 19th at the Westin Waterfront Hotel. They are in need of
volunteers in 3 different roles:
5:00-7:30pm - Greeters welcome guests at various entrances of the hotel.
[listed as 5-8 on chmrr]
5:15-9:00pm - Silent Auction Assistants answer questions, assist guests,
and help with cash out at the end of the auction. (max of 5 people needed)

*6:30-10pm - Floor Volunteers help with the fundraising portion of
ourevent during the program, collecting donations and acting as live
auction
spotters. *[listed as 6-10 on chmrr]

They are especially in need of people for the 6:30-10PM slot, so please try
to sign up for that one if you are available then!
Please sign up by Friday, *10/12 at 8PM *(Yes, that is today!) ! I need to
give them an idea of how many people are volunteering for each slot so that
they can also try to get help elsewhere if they need it.
I know this is super short-notice, but I'm confident we can get lots of
people for this anyways! Who doesn't want to be helpful at a gala? So
fancy! In fact, if you are reading this right now and are free then, you
may as well sign up! Right?
