Hi APO,
Wanna rip apart bicycles with your BARE HANDS? (tools also provided). If
so, there's a fun, educational, and engineering-like service project in a
week: Bikes Not Bombs!
BNB takes donated or broken bicycles, and rebuilds them into working ones.
They are then shipped to 3rd world countries where they're sold for
affordable prices.
I've done this project twice before, and it's been very enjoyable. You
mostly disassemble bikes and reclaim/sort their usable parts.
The project will occur on *Wednesday, October 10*, and will take place from
*6:15 - 10:45pm*, including transportation time (via T). There may be
optional ice cream at JP Licks afterwards.
