Summer seems to have altered the Red Cross's regular schedule of
donation sites in interesting ways. The Red Cross's schedule lists no
donation sites open in eastern MA on the third Tuesday in July
(7/17). So, there will be an unusual Monday blood drive and dinner
trip.
Date: Monday, July 23
Where: American Legion Hall, 162 Winn Street, Burlington, MA
Please join us for dinner even if you can't donate.
To Make an appointment to donate call 1-800-GIVE-LIFE or go on line at
http://www.redcrossblood.org/ (Note, this is a new website for making
appointments. It definitely seems to work better than the old one.)
Right now, it looks like all the appointment slots from 5 on are full,
but the do take walk-ins.
Alumni, actives, family and friends welcome.
If you are donating, please arrive by 6:30pm. The blood mobile is open
from 1:30pm - 7:00 pm. If there are non appointment slots available,
you can still donate as a walk in.
If you are joining us only for dinner, please arrive by 7pm.
Please RSVP so I know who to expect. If you are interested in going
and don't have a car, I'll try to arrange car pools.
