Oops - something came in from National Braille Press! Tell me if you are
interested!
Volunteer Coordinators,****
National Braille Press has the following opportunities available for the
upcoming months. Weekday projects can be reserved for either 1-4:30pm or
5:30-9pm and Saturday projects take place from 10am-2pm. The dates
available are:****
July project =96 either 7/25, 7/26, or 7/28****
August project =96 either 8/29, 8/30, or 9/1****

The projects need a group of about 15-20 people to help collate plastic
braille pages with print pages of a children=92s book (we will consider
combining small groups if your dates align). If you=92d like to book one o=
f
these projects, please reply with your preferred date and time from the
list above. Preference will be given to groups who have not had a
volunteer project yet this year.****

There will also be a small group opportunity in September with date to be
determined. I will email that date as soon as possible. ****
Looking ahead to October, we will need volunteers for our annual *A Million
Laughs for Literacy* gala taking place this year on October 19th at the
Westin Waterfront Hotel.
