Hi everybody,

As you (hopefully) know, Big Screw is rapidly approaching. We will be colle=
cting donations starting on Wednesday, and we are hard at work soliciting n=
ominations for professors and planning the event.

We are having a planning meeting tonight at 9:30 p.m. in the APO office (ho=
pefully right after Nom Com.) Everybody is welcome, and strongly encouraged=
, to come.

Currently, our sub-pcs are:

Gaurav Singh (Candidates)
Adam Rodriguez and Tiffany Zhou (Publicity)
Josh Oreman (Treasurer)

We'd still really like a Manpower sub-pc. Basically you'll need to set up a=
chmrr and make sure that the booth is staffed properly at all times. It sh=
ould be a low-work position, compared to the other pc-ships. Please email m=
e right away if you would like this position.

Finally, we need nominations for professors. We're contacting professors as=
nominations come in, so the sooner you nominate him/her the better. Then a=
gain, most of you probably don't have anybody you'd want to nominate. I kno=
w I've never had a professor give 24 hours of work per week for a 12 unit c=
lass, assign a paper over spring break, have a p-set due the day before an =
exam, give me so much work I'm pulling two all-nighters/week, give tests wi=
th material that wasn't covered, curve a class to a C+ average, or put test=
s, labs, psets, papers, mandatory attendance, and a final exam all in the s=
ame class. But if you're one of the few who've had a different experience, =
you should nominate the relevant professor!

Daniel
