The third tuesday of an odd numbered month is almost upon us and that
means that it's time for another Blood Drive and dinner trip.
This month there is a new location, still an American Legion Hall, but
one town over:
Date: Tueday, March 20, 2012
Where: American Legion Hall, 357 Great Rd, Bedford, MA 01730
Please join us for dinner even if you can't donate. Alumni, actives,
family and friends welcome.
To make an appointment to donate call 1-800-GIVE-LIFE or go on line at
http://www.redcrossblood.org/ (Note, this is a new website for making
appointments. It definitely seems to work better than the old one.)
Right now, it looks like all the appointment slots from 5 on are full,
but the do take walk-ins.
If you are donating, please arrive by 6:30pm. The blood mobile is open
from 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm. If there are no appointment slots available,
you can still donate as a walk in.
If you are joining us only for dinner, please arrive by 7pm.
I will not be there this month because I have a to take a mid-term
that night. However, still still RSVP so I can tell the people who are
going who to look for.. If you are interested in going and don't have
a car, I'll try to arrange car pools.
