Hey all,
Despite our having just had a chapter meeting tonight, we will be having
another next week (not exec!), and it will be at *6:30pm*, an hour earlier
than normal. Please come! And be on time; we do have some business to cover.
Sarah (slehmann) has volunteered to make our roll call for Conclave, so let
her know if you have ideas or want to help.
Also, tonight we elected voting delegates for Conclave: me and alexwest.
Remember that everyone is encouraged to talk during business meetings at
Conclave, but the two of us will be the only AX's voting, so let us know if
you have opinions about the following:
-section chair election/re-election
-place and time of conclave next spring
-whether or not section 96 (perhaps with section 94) might decide to put in
a bid to host the next regional conference
-continued discussion of whether we want to keep the current date of
regionals or move it to the proposed time of the first weekend after
January 1st
-decide if section 96 would like to have a leadership day next fall since
conclave is in Maine, and voting to spend section money on it
-vote on a section 96 Awards Policy
-anything else that is brought up, as any voting delegate from any chapter
can make a motion
YiLFS,
Rachel
