Hi folks,

Our spring time-travel-themed Conclave continues to fast approach (it's a
little over two months away) and we continue to plan for it. We have a
budget, hotels, space, a tentative schedule, and are in the process of
putting together a registration packet. If you're interested in helping
out, please blanche yourself onto apo-timelords@mit.edu.

In the short term, we are particularly looking for those of you who might
be interested in designing a T-shirt for this Conclave. The T-shirt design
doesn't need to be finalized until we're ready to print the T-shirts (more
than a month away), but we do need to be able to describe it to chapters in
the registration packet (sent out in a week or so), so we're looking mostly
for design *descriptions* that the proposers (or others) are interested
into turning into designs over the next few weeks. If this sounds up your
alley, or even if you have an idea without the artistic inclination to make
it, let us know!

More generally...

Never been to a Conclave? No idea what it is? No problem! Basically, we're
hosting the semesterly event where all the APO chapters in New England come
together for APO-y workshops, service, fellowship, some business (e.g.
electing the next Section Chairs), and a big banquet. If any of these sound
fun to you...

- running a ~1.5 hour drop-in service project (writing letters to
troops, Project Linus, Lego science, ...)
- running a ~1.5 hour drop-in fellowship event (silkscreening,
playing Rock Band, watching Doctor Who, ...)
- organizing breakfast
- organizing anything to do with the banquet (caterers, furniture,
decorations, awards, dance party, costume judging...)
- cat-herding
- helping out with the logistics of a big event

... then you should definitely be on that list! Once again, it's
apo-timelords@mit.edu. No obligation, except the willingness to get a
little more email. :-)

YiLFS,
Josh
