Hello Brothers!
Welcome back! I hope your new year has started out well.
This Thursday, coming soon to room 1-135 near you, get excited for CAPS!
CAPS stands for Chapter Assessment and Planning Session, where we talk
about goals we have for our chapter, what we've already done toward them in
the past and what we'd like to do in the future.
You should come to CAPS! It's important that we have as many brothers as
possible so we set good goals :-)
7 pm, this Thursday January 19, room 1-135, and there will be dinner. A
current list of topics follows; if you want to add something, want to make
sure something gets discussed, or have other comments about CAPS topics,
just email me.
YiLFS,
Rachel
------
1) Associate membership
2) Tech chair -- do we still want one?
3) Pubdir
outline in bylaws more definite responsibilities
4) PC Reports
5) Things other chapters do
a) fellowship
-doing families of brothers with pledges
b) committees
(UConn) - set number of committees that are required;
have brothers/nibsapply for committees at beginning, preference to nibs
this would need scaling down for our chapter
more formal application process to establish and sign up for committees
(other chapters)- committees divide into houses and compete for
house cups for points
