Officers' reports:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
SVP (Charley): There was a project this weekend. It was cool. I
will announce upcoming projects later.
MVP (Emily): I wrote email to Duffy asking him to be at the next
pledge meeting. It's Sunday, April 9, at 2pm. Picnic on Killian
Court.
AVP (Cathy): nothing to report
Treasurer (Harry): The DJR order is in.
FC (Karen): Hi, Sorry I can't come to this meeting (you all know how
I enjoy chapter meeetings.) ;-) I have a test review for a 3.063
polymer physics test tomorrow, so that is my excuse. Alexis
has been kind enough to organize a study break tomorrow in
the office starting at 8:15 pm. SFF happened last Saturday, and
I thought it went pretty well. The dance lessons were cool. I
had a couple comments to make, but they are in an article in
the APOc. Nothing else to say except that if anyone wants to
do something over Spring Break, feel free to. I will be home in
Ohio. You can talk to me about what you might want to do,
though.
APOcEd (Barbara): I am in SIPB editing the APOc.
ASC (Junko): nothing to report
PubDir (Elaine): not present
Historian (Jeffrey): It's in the APOc. I sent in a roll of film. We
will have pledge pictures. The camera went to SFF.
Advisory Comm. Chair (Joe): nothing to report
President (Bridget): I went to the ASA meeting. We lost the lower
half of our bulletin board to Circle K. Wellesley petitioning
group ceremony April 10. I would like about 10 people to attend.
The chapter meeting after next is nominations. I looked into the
flammables cabinet; ASA doesn't have a capital improvements
fund. I will check with CAC.
Committee reports:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Conclave: (Jeffrey) Mike Repeta is Section 96 chair. There was a
discussion about Farmington; all $500 was given to them. They
will give the undistributed cups and glasses to sectional staff to
sell at section events. Chapters not at the last conclave will be
heavily encouraged to contribute to this effort. There is a report
in the APOc.
Big Screw: (Grant) I have the 4 sub-PC's on the job (Amy - publicity,
Susan - treasury, Ingrid - candidates, Cathy - manpower).
All letters and forms were distributed to departments almost a
month ago. Ingrid and I have found specific courses to target
profs. Talking to individual profs will happen the first week after
spring break; Ingrid and I will do that. Cathy already reserved
Lobby 10 space and drop poster space.
New Business:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Harry: Fincomm has no status. It will start after spring break.
Bridget: No execcomm next week. I will be out of town on Tuesday.
Announcements:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Kate: I'm your representative on the Public Service Center Steering
Committee. There is a meeting April 5 from 5:15-6:30 I can't
go to. Anyone interested?
Richard: PSC is sponsoring a leadership workshop at the end of May and
beginning of June.
Emily: If anyone needs PC's or sub-PC's, harass the pledges.
Charley: I have upcoming projects: the Cub Scout Decathlon, Hospice
of Cambridge, Chapter Weekend II, May 3 science fair, ESP
GAT conference May 6. That makes 5 on-campus projects this
term.
PFTGOTO:
~~~~~~~
Charley: Growltiger sucks big rocks.
Junko: I'm too tired. I have a pipet bulb for no reason.
Emily: I am really hungry.
Ezra: I'm interested in PC'ing a day getaway during spring break.
Bridget: Next Tuesday and Wednesday I will be in sunny Pittsburgh.
Richard: It's been over a month.
Charley: It's been over a year.
Meeting adjourned to fellowship circle at 7:50.
