Conclave in a year will be at UVM in Burlington; the theme is
Olympics. New England College will be chartered as a new chapter on
May 7th, assuming all goes well.
>SVP - latifah

with people you think should be nominated.

impression when i was in the office ~3. we will need help postering
and chalking (at least), again email me, kkuhn and grantrob if you
want to help. We're also making a drop poster after this meeting to
hang in Stata.
Manpower: man the booth! if you have safe access, please help count
money and put it away etc. also, come help with setup and making the
new big screw! sunday, starting at 8pm.
there is nothing scheduled for the weekend after big screw, because i
will be dead (or thereabouts), but it'll be CPW, so yay!

their mothers do various fun activities. we'll leave here ~8am and get

Usual report - if you want things on the WUAPO, tell me. If you want
space reserved, tell me over a week in advance.
Also, I have minutes from the Section/Region meeting at Conclave. I'll type
those up and send them out as usual.
>PubDir - austein
I put together a poster to try getting people who were scouts to join.
I'm fairly pleased with the poster and while we haven't had any leads,
hopefully it helpd get our name out.
More Drop Poster arrived. Most (800ft) has been sold to the Hawaii
Club so it's largely been used up already, but there's a bunch more.
And it looks like we might have actually made a (small) profit off it.
SAO cleanout resulted in us getting some useful items for publicity -
more drop poster, paints and paintbrushes, and an easel.
CPW is coming up, we're helping MIT advertise community service! See
the WUAPO for events.
If you have ideas of simple pictures that represent us or the things
we do that would work well on posters, tell austein.
>APOCed - adehnert
APOCed/Treasurer report:
There's an APOC in the office.
Also:
Vicki and I have been talking about our mutual happiness with our
jobs. Vicki enjoyed APOCeding more than being treasurer; I have
trouble remembering to reach out to get content and stuff, but have a
lot of experience as a treasurer. So unless somebody objects, I'll be
serving as acting treasurer for the rest of the term and she'll be
serving as acting APOCed.
>Office Manager - jaxxson
Keep the office clean, or I will yell at you. And by yell at you, I
mean suggest keep the office clean.
>Historian - wings
- Send PC reports to apo-reports@mit.edu - we need them! The standard
form is at /mit/apo/Officers/SVP/Forms/PCevaluation.pdf, but you can
do your own thing. Please remember to send pictures.
- Project: APOComb, Saturday, May 1st, time TBA. We'll be going
through old APOC issues to find PC reports and populate the locker so
that previous reports are more easily accessed (and learned from).
Mark your calendars now and keep an eye out for future email.
>Chair Adv. Comm - ccrazy
Conclave report - The sectional treasury has been officially moved to
the National office. It'll transition there over the next year. There
are some things voted on at Money from section dues from this conclave
will go directly to the National office.
People should start thinking about the National Convention. Now is a
good time to start thinking about whether you want to be a voting
delegate. We need to tell them by the end of October. Voting delegates
may also be committee chairs for nationals.
There are a number of Membership Academies and Serves around the
country this summer. None of them are near us in Boston, but they
might be near where you are this summer.
>>
Move that on the advice of the Treasurer we add Alex Dehnert to our
financial signatory list for the duration of Vicki's term of office
until election of the next Treasurer. Seconded.
Motion to close discussion passes.
Main motion passes.
>>NomComm
We need to form a nominations committee. This committee comes up with
a list of people they think would be good for positions and tries to
poke people to think about running.
Is anyone interested? austein. Talk to ederegt if you want to be on
NomComm. It'll be meeting in the next couple weeks.
**NOMINATIONS ARE NEXT CHAPTER MEETING**
>DSKs
We'll be nominating DSKs at the next chapter meeting and voting over
the next week. Distinguished Service Keys are awards given to members
for outstanding service to the fraternity. We come up with names and
nominate people at the next meeting; any brother who was at that
meeting can vote on that.
**TO VOTE ON DSKS YOU MUST HAVE BEEN AT THE DISCUSSION MEETING, WHICH IS
APRIL 14TH.**
PFTFOTO:
Matt looked at the pledge manual. It's awesome! Thanks, Sarah, for
updating it!
You can ask Verde's to put a sub on matzah! And they cut it in half
without crumbling!
We're all nerdy and started doing the Macarena during Conclave, and we
got everyone to join in.
One of the National Program Directors says that everyone in APO is
slightly crazy, but that doesn't mean we should buy straightjackets.
