>>Approving Requirements:

>Pledge Requirements
Changes to Spring 2010 from Fall 2009 requirements:
-added pledges should write article for APOC
-know how to navigate locker and mailing lists
-encouraged to write additional articles for APOC
-help plan and/or participate in the pledge service or fellowship project

>Brotherhood Requirements
Changes:
-have to write article for APOC
-encouraged to write additional articles for APOC
-highly encouraged that active brothers know how to navigate the locker and
mailing lists (because it wasn't a pledge requirement for all of us)

Votes:
Pledge Requirements: 8 in favor, 0 opposed, 0 abstentions
Brotherhood Requirements: 8 in favor, 0 opposed, 0 abstentions

Every active brother needs to sign a brotherhood form.

>>BookEx
BookEx is going well. We've been in the black every day. Please remember to
click "Check Out Customer"! Also, if you accidentally create a blank book,
email Sarah so she can get rid of it. It looks bad to have a bunch of blank
books in the database. You should come hang out at bookex!

>>Officer Reports

>PVP Report:

Good news: I have middle schoolers wanting to do bootstrap!
Other news: I need pledges! Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled
masses yearning to do service!

Come to RUSH or I will make it a requirement to come to rush so you have to
come to rush!!! RUSH RUSH RUSH!!!! https://apo.chmrr.net/pc/64
Keep in mind for the recruitment dinner that we'd like people to dress
nicely. Can anyone help Sarah cook for the dinner? Cooking will happen on
Tetazoo; Sarah will send out times.
Wear your pin to events! And letter shirts!

Oh yeah, and there are brotherhood forms. You should check them out. We just
approved them at this meeting.

Also, if you want to be a big, you should fill out a form. Sarah will send
them out.

>SVP Report
There's Rush week! After that, HMMT on Feb 20th, City Year on Feb 27th, and
Habitat for Humanity on March 6.
Also, does anyone want to go on a Habitat for Humanity project on March 6th?
Latifah will email out later tonight to gauge interest.
We were at a service fair yesterday, it was good.
There's a blood drive next week, you should sign up on the chnmrr. Note:
signing up for the blood drive means helping, not necessarily giving blood.

>Interim FVP Report:

There were events! Some of them didn't happen... lesson learned: it is hard
to schedule fellowship events after service projects. Ice skating fell
through because the Haiti event ran late... I think in the future,
post-project fellowship events should be just for the folks on the project.
(E.g., going out for lunch afterwards).

Events that Happened:
IAP SFF (Southern Fried Feast). Was fun and awesome! Lots of people came!
Lizbang fed >20 people for $40. Amazing!

Movie Night. Not too many people showed up (just epower, latifah, alecp, and
andrewd), but we still had fun! We watched Rosencratz and Gildenstern Are
Dead. Maybe in the future we can pick a movie at a chapter meeting, so that
people are more invested in coming. Also advertise more?

Bookex Setup Study Break. It didn't feel too much like a Fellowship Event,
since we usually order dinner for Bookex Setup... but I planned it, so I
decided it counts. :P

Other things:
Dinner for Bookex People. Lizbang went shopping, and I cooked for our lovely
Bookex folks Monday night. Huzzah for Vicki and Sarah and Grant and Nicole
and Lizbang!

Events that Will Happen:
RUSHHH is next week!! I can smell the burnout from here... maybe making it
the week after Bookex was a bad idea...
Locations are still being figured out for Recruitment Dinner and the Super
Bowl Party. Stay tuned for that.
Reminder of rush events.... [see wuapo]
There is now a Chmrr for Rush Week! There Must Be AT LEAST Three (3)
Brothers At Each Event. Even that is probably too few, but I am right now
too lazy to add more slots to the chmrr. Sign up, please!

>AC
If you need rooms reserved for anything, try and tell me at least a week in
advance. As we've discovered in planning for Rush week, it can be difficult
to get the exact room we want, and the more time in advance I can reserve
something, the better.

>Chair of the Advisory Committee
No report

>>Pledge Class Namesake
Mims has been suggested, people seem to like the idea. No one has other
ideas. Moved to make Mims the pledge class namesake, as long as she's okay
with it.
7 in favor, 0 opposed, 2 abstentions

>>Printshop/Silk Screening Policy
An issue about sales tax and who exactly we can do jobs for has come up
recently. We're talking with SAFO about sales tax. Since most of the current
actives have been here, it's mostly been that we do jobs for whoever comes
along, but there are different things to consider.
There was an unofficial Rulescomm meeting to discuss some of this. Minutes
were sent out to apo-rulescomm and apo-minutes. Talk to Sophie if you want
to see them and aren't on those lists.
There's a lot of interpretation in these laws. We need to figure out what we
want our policy to be and what is legal.
What is and is not legal is up to the MIT General Office, so we should
probably talk with them at some point. (They would probably be thrilled to
talk to students, since they rarely get to do that.)

>>Budget
Exec is going to discuss the budget at their meeting and present it to the
chapter at the next chapter meeting. We do need to talk about the Rush
budget, since that's starting soon.

From Kristin:

Rush budget:
Recruitment Dinner = $85?
I <3 Physplant = $20 (we have so many baking supplies in the office, we
better stay under $20)
Movie Night = $70 for pizza
Black Morbid = $25 for snacks, etc
TOTAL: $200

Black Morbid could come out of the Fellowship budget instead of the Rush
budget, since it's a normal Fellowship event.

Where is this money coming from? Fellowship got $600 last year, another term
it was $750. It's usually underspent, so Rush could come out of that. Some
of Rush could also come out of the Pledge budget.
Exec will iron out where exactly the rush budget comes from.

>Paula will PC Black Morbid.
>We need a PC for I <3 Physplant.

>>Bylaws
Next week at Exec, we'll be discussing proposed changes to the Bylaws.
Liz%20 is going to be sending out an email with ideas. Please respond!

>>Elections

>FVP
Nominated: kkuhn
Elected: kkuhn

>APOC Editor

Elected: adehnert

>Office Manager

>>Installation of Officers
Kristin, Rebecca, Piper, and Xavier were installed as FVP, AC, Historian,
and Office Manager respectively.

>>PFTGOTO!
What HASS classes do people like? Cyberpunk, Early music
The Tech is giving out sex toys.
It is approximately 363104000 meters to the moon (at its nearest).
