Minutes of ExecComm (February 28, 1995)
Administrative notes:

Harry, Bridget, Ingrid, Karen, Charley, Junko, Jeffrey, Cathy, Richard,
Dave, Ezra, Barbara
Officers' reports:

SVP (Charley): I got email from TEP asking for a list of stuff they
can do. Apparently they just want to be steered in the right
direction. Should I clue-dump him to PSC? Ezra sent me mail
about Christmas in April from Sharon on Section 96 staff. The
project at Shelter, Inc. was good. Chapter Skills Weekend this
weekend, Conclave the next. CPR this Sunday. Printing we can
do one person per day. I haven't heard from Rachel. According
to Ingrid, Kevin is doing treasury at 4pm Saturday. Joe, I need
to talk to you about instructor training.
MVP (Emily): Hi. I have a big test tomorrow. I'm hosed. Here
are some key points (MVP-related, of course!): Pledge article
meal happened. 9 brothers, 4 pledges, many articles, a ton of
food. Cost was $3.50 per brother. Pledges come out of my
MVP fund. Manjari is feeling overcommitted and wants to de-
pledge (return her pin and everything). What should I do???
This leaves Henning free as a big brother. Lan still needs a big
brother. Jefreypu, Henning, Richard, and Grant are still eager
to be bigs. Pledge meetings still need to be scheduled. It looks
like Wednesday evenings are good. There will probably be one
in March and two in April, or one in April and one the first week
of May. That's all folks!
AVP (Cathy): nothing to report
Treasurer (Harry): nothing worthwhile to report
FC (Karen): IM softball team. We have a few people. We need refs.
I should schedule a minor event soon.
APOcEd (Barbara): Pushup subcommittee: Dave has 500 for sub-
mitting late articles. Because he submitted articles, he keeps his
kneecaps. Officers, write a summary of what has happened this
term.
ASC (Junko): nothing to report
PubDir (Elaine): nothing significant to report
Historian (Jeffrey): The camera went to project. Pictures were
taken. When I get the camera back I will develop pledge pic-
tures. I will buy a scrapbook. I need to buy myself a lamp.
Advisory Comm. Chair (Joe): nothing to report
President (Bridget): I am getting definite answers from Conclave
maybes. Give me money. I am pretending to be Cathy at the
ASA meeting. I will ask about the flammables cabinet. I haven't
done anything useful all week.
Committee reports:

SFF: We have no room reserved. There has been a request to move it
to Friday, or the next weekend, but that's where Charley wants a
chapter fellowship weekend. I am too hosed to deal with getting
a room. I will send BU and Wellesley mail Wednesday. Karen
will look into reserving Burton-Conner. A room too big doesn't
exist.
New Business:

Harry: We should talk to Manjari and find out why she wants to
depledge.
Junko: It's her choice. She should know the options. Perhaps she
should consider starting fresh, else she could have an immense
amount of guilt.
Richard: Make it clear that being hosed is okay.
Dave: Don't assume the lines of communication are clear. It may be
a bad time for her to listen, or she may not perceive what you
say. Do not have 20000 brothers descend on her.
Harry: Kate says to reserve Next House for Steak Fry.
Charley: I don't know if it's definitely that weekend.
Harry: Has anyone asked Laurel about Steak Fry? (No.)
Bridget: We will see who's actually going to Conclave to decide on
voting delegates at the next cchapter meeting.
In the suggestion box:

Richard: Monty being in town has nothing to do with why I haven't
gotten anything done in the past week. I am bribing the APOcEd.
Barbara: I am milking him for everything he's got.
