Sending this on since I noticed AX doesn't seem to be on the recipient
list and it sounds like they're trying to reach all the chapters -- in
addition to late reg ($40), there's now a day pass ($15) option for
Regionals. And the hotel reg deadline has been extended.
There will be alums/staff going from Boston to NJ, so rides are available
if you're interested.

Subject: Regionals Updates
Hi everyone!
Just a few quick updates about Regionals.
*Hotel:*
The deadline to book your hotel room has been extended. If you want to
receive the discounted room rate of $75 per night, you must reserve your
room by *Friday, December 11th*. You can do so by calling the hotel at
973-647-1234. You do not have to pay for the room when you call to make
your reservation. Instead, you pay for your room at the conference when you
check out. *If you do not book your room before the 11th, you will be
paying a much higher rate of at lease $125 per night*. We don't want you to
have to pay that much for a room and we're sure you feel the same way. So
if you are positive you will be attending the conference and will be staying
at the hotel, save yourself a lot of money by reserving your room by Friday.
Also, we've heard from some people that they have been able to get a *AAA
member discount* when reserving their rooms. So if you have a membership
card, be sure to mention that and it will save you even more money.
*One Day Pass:*
We have decided to make a *One Day Pass* available for Regionals. That way,
those who would like to attend but are unable to attend all three days can
still participate in the conference. The One Day Pass costs *$15* per day
and gets you into workshops, fellowship and service events on the day of
your choice. It does not include a t-shirt or glassware. We are also
offering the option of buying a *One Day Pass + Banquet Ticket for a special
price of $50*. This allows you to attend the banquet on December 30th and
the conference activities on the day of your choice. If you are interested
in buying a One Day Pass, you can use the form attached in this e-mail. It
can also be found on the Forms Page of our website (
regionals2009.yolasite.com). This is a great option for Brothers who are
unable to attend all three days of the conference. We've included a list of
workshops to help you decide which day you would like to attend.
*Box Tops for Education:*
Don't forget to collect all the Box Tops for Education you can find and
bring them to the conference! We want to see which chapter can bring the
most. The chapter that wins will even receive an ELFS award at the banquet!
*Roll Call: *
Don't forget to work on your roll call! Aim for between one and two
minutes. The top 3 roll calls will be presented for a second time at the
banquet and a winner will be chosen there.
*Video: *
A Regionals video will be posted on our Facebook event page this week, so
check it out!
In LFS,
Carly Schilling
P.S. We're sending this e-mail out to each of the chapters, those who have
registered already, and through Facebook, so I'm sorry if you receive this
more than once.
